ksareen Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Hello all, A new member from Essex here. Sorry to ask for help straight away. I've an Indesit Washing Machine model WIDXL146 whose drum refused to turn recently. Took out the motor and found the brushes were badly worn. The armature seems OK. Regarding the brushes, can anyone please help to identify the correct part number? My motor has C.E.SET label on it. Based on this information, I found a part C00194594 online. I found some good prices too but can't find my model mentioned anywhere for this part. There are 100s of models mentioned including WIDL146UK, Is this same as my model: WIDXL146? Your help would be highly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

ksareen Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 Hi, Yes it does, although they are quite pricey as I need two. Unfortunately, I've already bought a pair of C00194594 from fleabay yesterday as the seller said they would fit. Will report back once I get the delivery. Thanks.

They list the same brush as a pair for £1 less here - Pair of Indesit carbon brushes £14.99- 4washerhelp ksareen 1 Need a repair or spare parts? edhorwood Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Don't think it's a mistake, a reviewer commented on how he received just one brush. ksareen 1
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted April 29, 2015 Root Admin Posted April 29, 2015 Don't think it's a mistake, a reviewer commented on how he received just one brush. Yes I saw that Edd, I didn't mean that kind of mistake. It must be a mistake someone deciding to sell them singularly. I've never heard of anybody just replacing one brush. I've never heard of anybody selling just one brush either. It's most bizarre, especially as they also sell them in a pair for £1 less. Therefore it must be a mistake. It's crazy ksareen 1 Need a repair or spare parts? Book a Repair | Spares4Appliances WARNING: Read this before attempting any diy repairs.
